The big-tech internet is filled with brain rot media, served with attention-sucking algorithms. It's been years since I've felt any joy using the big-tech internet.

On the other hand, the smallweb/indieweb personal websites feel wholesome, warm, and humane. Often, I find a new personal website and it feels like I've found a new miniature world that I can stroll around in.
